This project exposes us to real existing ancient jewelry, which we should copy.

I choose a decorative roundel from the Hellenistic period.

Tried to follow after how this jewelry was made in ancient time,

I used repoussee technique, filigree, loop in loop chains and more, everything is hand made.

 

I made two versions, one tried to copy the ancient jewelry fully,

and in the other one I made only the repoussee,

I found the silver background that changed because of the stress very interesting .
